200 Monges Reserva is a red wine composed of three grape varieties: Tempranillo 85%, Graciano 10%, and Mazuelo 5%.
Bodegas Vinícola Real was founded in 1989 by Miguel Ángel Rodríguez in Albelda de Iregua (La Rioja) in the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin, where they produce high-quality reserve red wines.
200 Monges Reserva is made with the varieties Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo. It has been aged for a minimum of 18 months in new barrels of French oak, from various origins, and American oak. It remains in tanks for a period of time until bottling, where it will be, depending on the vintage, at least 15 months until its commercialization.
200 Monges is ideal to accompany feathered game, big game stews, Iberian ham, and pressed raw milk cheeses. It is recommended to decant the wine before consuming and serve the red wine at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
