Production and Aging

Alaya Tierra is a 100% Monovarietal Garnacha Tintorera wine. Maceration-fermentation in small stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging in French and American oak barrels for 15 months.

Tasting Note of Alaya Tierra

• Appearance: Alaya Tierra has an intense cherry color with very high intensity and vibrant red tones.
• Nose: Interesting and complex aromatic profile with prominent mineral and ripe black and red fruit notes, along with pleasant hints of new wood.
• Palate: On the palate, it is ample, powerful, dense, and mature, with balanced acidity and a silky texture. It surprises with an original sweetness in a very long finish.

Food Pairing

Alaya Tierra is ideal to accompany rice dishes with game meat, hearty legume stews, mushrooms, game and poultry, casseroles, fish and seafood in sauce, smoked foods, aged and blue cheeses, grilled white and red meats.

The appropriate storage and serving temperature to fully enjoy this wine is around 15ºC. It is important to maintain a constant temperature, avoiding thermal fluctuations that could negatively affect its quality.
