Elaboration and aging

Alcorta Crianza is a wine with Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja, made 100% from Tempranillo grapes. After one year of aging in oak barrels (1/3 French oak and 2/3 American oak), it rests in the bottle for around 6 months.

Longer macerations are carried out to achieve a more structured wine with a better balance between fruit and wood. All of this allows us to obtain a more fruity, velvety, and spicy crianza.

Tasting note of Alcorta Crianza

• Appearance: Alcorta Crianza is a wine with a bright cherry red color.
• Nose: Varietal aromas of red fruit and spices.
• Palate: Smooth, full-bodied, with sweet tannins and a long finish.

Pairing

Alcorta Crianza is ideal for all types of meats, stews, and semi-aged cheeses. It is recommended to consume at a temperature between 15 and 17ºC.
