Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi is a winery with a lot of history linked to memory, unrelated to industry and mass production, based on passion and respect for the vineyard. At the end of 2015, and to continue with total freedom under those premises, they decided to leave the D.O.
Production and Aging
Artadi Valdegines is a single-varietal Tempranillo. The grapes are vinified in open tanks with cold maceration for 24-48 hours and fermentation for 10-12 days with two daily punch-downs and a small pump-over.
Aging for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting Note for Artadi Valdegines
- Appearance: Artadi Valdegines has a deep red color with a purplish rim and high intensity.
- Nose: Aromas of red fruit. Clean, penetrating, and direct aromas.
- Palate: It has a defined tannic structure on the palate. Strong fruit flavors.
Pairing
Artadi Valdegines is ideal to accompany small game, roasted red meats, and venison. It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
