Azpilicueta Origen Crianza 2019

The red wine Azpilicueta Origin belongs to the denomination of Origin La Rioja and is elaborated 100% with grapes of the Tempranillo variety.

The grapes used by bodegas Azpilicueta for the elaboration of origin, come exclusively from vineyards located in the locality of Fuenmayor, in three farms located between 500 and 600 meters of altitude.

The wine Azpilicueta origin, is aged 18 months in French oak barrels. Later it ages also in bottle.

Azpilicueta, which was founded in 1881, is one of the most recognized wineries worldwide. The winemaker of the project, Elena Adell, has wanted to honor with this Azpilicueta origin the figure of the founder, Don Happy Azpilicueta.
