Bodegas Baigorri is a modern and beautiful winery located in Rioja Alavesa in the town of Samaniego.
Baigorri Crianza is made with Tempranillo, garnacha, and small proportions of other varieties. All varieties are hand-selected, grape by grape, using vibrating and weight selection tables. Destemmed grapes are macerated in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and long intracellular fermentations. Musts are naturally remounted by gravity, using the submerged cap as an aid in the elaboration.
Aged for 14 months in American, French, and Russian oak barrels from the Caucaso.
Baigorri Crianza is ideal to accompany any type of stews, seasonal vegetables, white meats and light game, rice dishes, and tapas in general. It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
