Production and aging
Bellmunt is made with 70% Garnacha, 20% Cariñena, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, sourced from different plots located in the Bellmunt valley. This wine is aged for 10 months in barrels of different capacities: 3,000, 1,500, and 225 liters.
Additionally, it rests in the bottle for approximately 12 months.
Tasting notes for Bellmunt
- Appearance: Bellmunt has a cherry red color.
- Nose: The intense and juicy ripe fruit gives way to fresh balsamic, light toasty, and good herbaceous notes (aromatic herbs and dried flowers). Light and subtle mineral background.
- Palate: Tasty and enveloping, with a silky texture and a light, tasty, and smooth mouthfeel. Good fresh and fruity finish.
Pairing
Bellmunt is ideal to accompany roasted red meats, big game, wild boar, beef in sauce, cured meats, pepper steak, and duck.
Recommended serving temperature is 16ºC.
