Bellmunt is a wine with Priorat designation of origin made from a blend of Garnacha and Cariñena, typical of Priorat.
A wine with an extraordinary quality-price ratio.
Mas d'en Gil produces this red wine in Bellmunt del Priorat, in the southern part of Priorat, where the licorella soils (slate) predominate and give the wines a more flavorful and less aggressive character.
Bellmunt is made with 70% Garnacha, 20% Cariñena, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, sourced from different plots located in the Bellmunt valley. This wine is aged for 10 months in barrels of different capacities: 3,000, 1,500, and 225 liters.
Additionally, it rests in the bottle for approximately 12 months.
Bellmunt is ideal to accompany roasted red meats, big game, wild boar, beef in sauce, cured meats, pepper steak, and duck.
Recommended serving temperature is 16ºC.
