Rice has been grown in Calasparra since the 18th century. The situation, the mountainous environment and the quality of the water of the crops (waters of headwaters of the Segura and the World that come from mountainous zones) influence in the high quality of the rice. Brown rice preserves the edible husks and the rice germ, providing fiber, amino acids and nutrients to the diet. Variety: Balilla x Sollana -Ingredients: Brown rice*. *From organic farming. -Use: To wash with cold water and to put to cook with water: 1 part of rice with 2-2,5 of water. Cooking: 5 minutes at high heat, 40 minutes approx. at minimum heat and 10 minutes of rest.-Conservation: Keep in a cool and dry place.
