Aged red wine made from 100% Monastrell, aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, plus 6 months of aging in the bottle.
In Alicante, Modernism was closely linked to the growing production and export of wine. Its development acquired its own distinct personality, with a strong feminine presence. Caterina recovers that legacy, showing a woman of today, aware of her origin, her strength and beauty, with the need to value and care for what we have. Appearance: Bright amber with golden reflections, clean and of great visual intensity, showing a dense and elegant tear when shaken in the glass.
Nose: On the nose, it is very aromatic and enveloping, with intense notes of dried fruits, such as dried figs and plums, accompanied by hints of honey, candied orange peel, and sweet spices such as cinnamon and vanilla. There are also hints of dried fruit and subtle floral notes, which provide great aromatic complexity.
Palate: On the palate, it is a sweet but balanced wine, with a smooth and silky entry. It has a refreshing acidity that compensates for its sweetness, providing a light and harmonious mouthfeel. Flavours of candied fruit, caramel and spices are combined with a subtle bitter touch, leaving a long, enveloping and elegant finish.
