Château Margaux is a red wine from the Margaux area in Bordeaux made from cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, petit verdot and merlot grapes.
The largest and southernmost of the Médoc's prestigious A.O.C. is renowned for the admirable elegance of its wines, 21 of which are classified Crus Classés. The quality of the Margaux terroir, with its poor, well-drained gravel beds, proves exceptional for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which here express a special refinement in their aromas, tannins and texture.
