Beer with Trappist denomination of origin, 8% alcohol, top fermentation and secondary fermentation in bottle.
Chimay Triple, formerly called Chimay Blanca, served without secondary fermentation
The Chimay Triple, formerly called Chimay Blanca, served without the lees of the second fermentation, is presented with a golden blonde transparency, with a special balance between the dry and bitter taste, due to the taste of hops generously used (four times more than in the other two beers) and fruity touches, reminiscent of muscatel grapes and raisins. It is recommended to drink the lees - the remains of the yeast - at the end, thus taking advantage of all the vitamin content of this great beer.
Chimay is a great beer
The Chimay Triple whets the appetite and goes well with roast veal, semi-cured, mature and strong cheeses, such as the typical Chimay a la bière
