CITESTEROL BERBERIS 30 CAPSULES BIOSERUM

Dietary supplement that acts as a multifactorial hypolipidemic, helping in the reduction of cholesterol absorption. Cistesterol Berberis from Bioserum contains berberine, which helps decrease cholesterol levels and has been shown to interfere with cholesterol absorption at the intestinal level. It also contains the following ingredients:

• Red yeast rice: with monacolin K, chemically identical to some hypolipidemic drugs. It inhibits endogenous cholesterol synthesis.
• Artichoke: decreases various lipid profile parameters: LDL in serum, total cholesterol, and triglycerides. It carries out its action mainly thanks to chlorogenic acid.
• Coriander: has been shown to decrease LDL and VLDL levels by decreasing their formation and increasing their degradation. It also increases HDL.
• Policosanol: reduces total and LDL cholesterol levels and increases HDL levels, with greater tolerability than statins. It increases LDL uptake and degradation in the liver. It also has an antioxidant effect, inhibiting lipid peroxidation.
• Coenzyme Q10: counteracts the potential effects of myopathy from hypolipidemic treatment, which causes depletion of coenzyme Q10 in the muscles, resulting in muscle weakness, myalgia, and cramps.

• Berberis (Berberis aristata) 250 mg
• Red yeast rice (Monascus purpureus 3% monacolin K) 92 mg – 2.76 mg monacolin K (2.99 mg total monacolins)
• Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) 35 mg
• Coriander (Coriandrum sativum) 25 mg
• Saccharum officinarum 10.5 mg (95% Policosanol - 10 mg)
• Coenzyme Q10 2 mg

Directions for use:

It is recommended to take 1 capsule daily, preferably at night.
