It is a Specialty Coffee that stands out for its sweetness and its vanilla notes, which perfectly complement the floral touches of its fragrance to create a round and balanced cup.
Our Specialty Coffee from Costa Rica 'Finca La Rosa' is produced in the Central Valley region, more specifically in San Pablo de Heredia, a place of great coffee tradition and know-how, as it is where coffee cultivation began in the country. Influenced by the Pacific slope, these lands have the privilege of producing coffee with great success and quality.
Finca La Rosa comes from a long family tradition. It is currently managed by Sigifredo Sánchez Hernández, and originally belonged to the grandfather of Don Sigifredo's wife, Pedro Arce, who started planting coffee trees at the end of the 19th century. In the past, in addition to coffee, the farm was also planted with sugar cane. When the property began to be managed by Don Sigifredo and Doña Elsa, they decided to plant only coffee.
The location of this farm is privileged. The Pacific winds, in addition to the altitude (1,450 meters above sea level) and its particular climate, give this coffee a unique character that leaves notes in an incredibly balanced and sweet cup.
That is why Costa Rican Specialty Coffee is one of the most appreciated Origin Coffees by gourmet consumers. In addition, 100% of Costa Rican coffee is of the Arabica species Caturra and Catuaí varietals are present in this 'Finca La Rosa', which translates into beans of the highest quality and a cup with better organoleptic characteristics.
It is a coffee that stands out for its sweetness and softness in the mouth, with vanilla notes predominating. It has a silky and balanced body, which is perfectly complemented by its floral fragrance.
