This is the name of a large plot, in Savigny-lès-Beaune, located next to the place called Le Village, not far from the Rhoin river.
Old massal selection of Pinot Noir, vines on average 50 years old.
The nose reveals a marked aromatic depth with notes of smoke, blond tobacco, Morello cherry, and raspberry jelly, with touches of pepper and vanilla adding a nice spicy dimension. After airing, more complex aromas of chocolate and leather join in, enriching the bouquet. In the mouth, the attack is soft, round, and smooth, revealing a spicy structure dominated by pepper, accompanied by fruity and creamy flavors. The persistent and peppery finish pleasantly extends this aromatic sensation with a nice length.
This wine pairs perfectly with a pork tenderloin with sweet spices or a roasted duck breast. It also complements stewed dishes, such as beef bourguignon or coq au vin.
