Dominio del Pidio Tinto 2016 is a barrel-aged red wine made in the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin by the owners of Bodegas Cillar de Silos in their new Dominio del Pidio project.
Dominio Del Pidio is made up of grapes from the Tempranillo (95%) and Albillo (5%) varieties, coming from small vineyards in Quintana del Pidio (Burgos). Old vines, low production, planted on sandy-clayey-loam soils, at an average altitude of 890 meters above sea level. It undergoes alcoholic fermentation in cement tanks and is aged in French oak barrels for 16 months.
