The Duratón Red Wine is made with grapes of the tempranillo, syrah and malbec varieties and belongs to the P.D.O. Quality Wine of Valtiendas
TheHarvest is done manually and in boxes of 18 kg, to subsequently carry out the fermentation in epoxy tanks with strict temperature control. The aging is 12 months in French oak barrels that come from the forests of Bestranges.
The Bodega y Viñedos Ribera del Duratón is located near the Duratón River in Valtiendas, has a great agricultural tradition in the cultivation of the vine and is one of the oldest wine-growing areas. It is the result of a great love of wine by the Magaña family where the land has large plantations of Tempranillo, Syrah and Malbec.
This winery is famous for using drop wine, which is obtained by gravity by draining the tank after alcoholic fermentation and for the respect they show to the vineyard and the land, exposing that they are two basic elements to obtain the best quality grapes.
