East India Solera Lustau Fortified Wine
The East India Solera Lustau Fortified Wine is made from 80% Palomino and 20% Pedro Ximénez, replicating the aging process that wines developed during the 17th century transatlantic journeys to British colonies.
The two types of wine age separately for 12 years and are then blended and aged together in 45 barrels in the Sacristy of the Winery. The average aging time is 15 years.
The East India Solera Lustau Fortified Wine was rated with 96 Parker points by The Wine Advocate guide and has received international awards, such as the silver medal in the 2017 International Wine Challenge and the silver award in the Decanter World Wine Awards of the same year.
This wine is recommended to be served at a temperature of 12-13º. Ideally, it can be paired with a cheese board, foie gras, or any type of dessert. Its unmatched personality has made the East India Solera Lustau Fortified Wine a reference in international mixology today. It can also be served in a wide glass, with lots of ice and a slice of orange.
