Fai un Sol de Carallo is an exceptional wine from the D.O. Ribeiro, made with the native Galician grapes Treixadura (88%), Godello (7%) and Albariño (5%) by Bodegas El Paraguas. With a limited production of 776 bottles, this wine has been aged for twelve months in a new 600-liter French oak Burgundian barrel.
This wine has a beautiful straw yellow color with golden nuances.
On the nose, it displays a complex aromatic range that combines notes of aging in wood, with delicate touches of spice and reminiscences of cabinetmaking. As it develops, the citrus aromas of grapefruit and mandarin seduce, perfectly integrated with notes of white fruits such as pear and conference apple, along with floral nuances and a mineral and saline undertone that reflects the best of the Galician character.
In the mouth, it is broad, complex and with a very unctuous entry. The wine is long and elegant, combining fruit and minerality with the notes of barrel aging. The aromas of white and citrus fruits, as well as floral ones, unfold along the subtle route. The aftertaste is long and leaves a pleasant memory that invites you to repeat the experience.
