The Finca Montalvillo White Wine of Bodegas Finca Montalvillo, presents this white wine D.O.Ca La Rioja (Spain), created from 80% Tempranillo and 20% Viura grape varieties.
These grapes have been obtained from plots located at high altitude in northwest facing vineyards composed of a clay soil with limestone and considerable boulder
Vinification:
Half fermented in second use French oak barrels while the other half in a stainless steel tank with indigenous yeasts.
Ageing:
Slight aging in barrel and concrete tank.
TheFinca Montalvillo occupies an extensive hillside in the Sierra de Yerga, in the easternmost end of La Rioja.
This estate is framed by the wide valley of the Ebro and the sierra. it has 240 hectares of vineyards, 15 of them organically farmed. composed of four red and seven white varieties.
