Red wine teserva Fincas Landaluce, a mature and distinguished Rioja Alavesa wine, which offers a complex and very characteristic expression of the area and the Tempranillo variety.
With complex aromas of ripe fruit, with spicy notes on a slightly toasted background, it is unctuous and velvety, with good acidity and noble tannins. It is a red that can be decanted and aerated before consumption at around 16˚C, accompanying grilled meats.
It has an estimated aging potential between eight and ten years.
Coming from well-selected Tempranillo grapes, in a perfect state of ripeness and harvested manually from our own vineyards in Laguardia, over 60 years old, harvested at the beginning of October.
Grapes, which after destemming, fermented in 15,000 liter stainless steel tanks, at a temperature of 26–28˚C and which, after maceration for 10 to 15 days, underwent malolactic fermentation that refines the wine, leaving it at its proper acidity.
It is followed by a racking in French and American oak barrels for a year of aging, completed with another two years in the bottle.
