It is a very recent gin, specifically from 2010, made by Oxley Spirits Co (London), with limited production.
Oxley Gin is obtained through cold distillation (-5ºC), using a special vacuum procedure that preserves the flavors to the maximum and avoids maceration.
The 14 botanicals used are classic, with the addition of some special ones like cocoa, meadowsweet, and grains of paradise.
Instead of citrus peels, hand-peeled citrus fruits are used.
Appearance: Oxley Gin has a transparent color.
Nose: The smell is classic and fresh, with citrus notes being recognized.
Pallate: Very smooth taste despite its alcohol content, fresh with a predominant flavor of roses and citrus, especially grapefruit.
