Ginebra Sikkim Greenery Distilled: the Sikkim group has unique gins in the world. Made with a base of red tea from the Tibet region, specifically from Sikkim, in India, where one of the best teas in the world is grown. Sikkim is the least populated state in India, borders Nepal, Tibet, and was the gateway for the tea routes coming from China. It is there, where the only garden grows the red tea that is used in the Sikkim gins.
From the naming to the tasting note, every detail makes Sikkim an exclusive gin. The Sikkim Gin uses a base of British gin with red tea from Tibet and floral essences, which are modified to obtain the four types of Sikkim.
The Sikkim group has received several worldwide recognitions since 2012 for the high quality of their gins. Some of the recognitions that the Sikkim distillery has obtained are Gold in the Super-Premium category at Spirits Business, London. Best Product-Innovation-Packaging World Beverage Innovation Awards, London. Gold in the Anuaria Packaging Awards, Barcelona.
The Sikkim Greenery gin is characterized by a blend of juniper, red tea, floral essences, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, and other varieties of green apple with refreshing menthol notes, cilantro, iris, sweet flag, and bitter orange peel.
To enjoy the perfect serve with this unique and different gin, it is recommended to pair it with green apple with tonic water, also a sprig of mint or mint with tonic water, or with a twist of apple and tonic with mint leaf.
