Graham''s L.B.V.
Graham''s Late Bottled Vintage Port (LBV) is a sweet Port wine belonging to Graham''s Winery, founded in 1820 by William and John Graham in the Douro Valley of Portugal. It is one of the best wineries in Porto.
Its quality is based on the harvesting of the best grapes from the Douro quintas Quinta dos Malvelos, Quinta do Tua, Quinta das Lages, Quinta da Vila Velha and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas, privately owned by a member of the Symington family. Characterized by their hot, dry microclimate and unique schist soil.
Graham''s Port L.B.V is an excellent wine selected from the best production of what was a spectacular year. Whereas Vintage Port spends two years in barrels before bottle maturation, LBV is matured in dry oak and then bottled between four and six years. Its aging process stimulates the development of the wine and upon bottling it is ready to drink without decanting.
It can be enjoyed at any time and is perfect with chocolate neco desserts and hard cheeses such as mature Cheddar and even goat cheese.
Graham''s LVB has been awarded the following prizes:- Silver Medal at the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2016.- Silver Medal at the International Wine Challenge 2016.- 90 Points in Wine Spectator, October 2016.
Graham''s is the most admired Port brand and the 14th most admired wine brand in the world.
