This Guatemalan Specialty Coffee is one of the best options if you want to taste a coffee from Central America that is sweet and with complex as well as balanced nuances. Guatemala is currently one of the top ten coffee producers in the world, with almost all of its harvests being of the arabica variety, although the wide variety of microclimates in this country makes it very difficult to give a global definition of its coffees.
The Finca el Chalum, where this Guatemalan Specialty Coffee comes from, is located next to the family home of the Morales Perez family and is worked with family labor from planting to harvesting. The soil of the region is not very fertile, but over the years they have improved its condition naturally with hard work incorporating organic matter and amendments; which has allowed the production quality to be excellent and has special characteristics thanks to the altitude of the farm (1,200 meters above sea level) and its peculiar microclimate
