Honoro Vera Garnacha 2021 is a young red wine. It was selected as one of the wines that would be served at the 2013 Oscars dinner.
Bodegas Ateca is located in the town of the same name, in the province of Zaragoza, just 14 kilometers from Calatayud.
Honoro Vera Garnacha 2018 is a monovarietal made from the Garnacha variety. The grapes come from old vineyards planted on hills at an altitude of 700-1,000 meters above sea level, on metamorphic rock and clay gravel soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 15 days, at a temperature not exceeding 25ºC.
Once fermentation is finished, Honoro Vera is aged for 2 months in French oak barrels.
Honoro Vera Garnacha is ideal to accompany salads with a light dressing, stews and soups, pasta, mushrooms, blue and white fish, and cheeses.
It is recommended to consume this red wine at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
