PROENSA GUIDE 2021 - 96 points
The Red Wine Legaris Moradillo de Roa from Bodegas Legaris presents us with this D.O. Ribera del Duero wine (Spain), made from 100% Tinto Fino grapes. The launch of the Vinos de Pueblo range marks the beginning of the new stage we are undertaking at Legaris, where we aim to express the richness, uniqueness, and diversity of the Ribera del Duero. This wine shows a very authentic Ribera del Duero profile. From a small vineyard located in Moradillo de Roa, at the southern limit of the province of Burgos, we produce this unique wine with a Tinto Fino profile that conveys the extreme character of maturity to the limit.
Viticulture: This wine has been made exclusively with the Tinto Fino variety. The grapes come from a vineyard of about two hectares with about 20 years of age. It is located in Moradillo de Roa, a town belonging to the province of Burgos located at 973 meters above sea level.
Winemaker's tips: We recommend decanting it 60 minutes before consumption and serving it at 16ºC. This wine will have a good evolution in the bottle over the next 8-10 years if kept under appropriate storage conditions.
