Llopart Carmí
The Llopart Carmí is an organic and vegan rosé wine from the Penedès Designation of Origin, produced by Cavas Llopart winery. This wine is a blend of the native varieties Sumoll and Garnacha Tinta, sourced from 15 to 45 year old vineyards cultivated organically in the heart of Penedès.
Production:
The harvest is done manually at the optimal ripening moment. The Garnacha grapes are destemmed, gently pressed, and macerated for 14 hours at low temperature before fermenting in stainless steel tanks. The Sumoll grapes macerate for 4 hours and, after fermentation, the wine is transferred to ceramic jars for a minimum aging of 4 months. Finally, both wines are blended and bottled.
Tasting notes:
- Color: Intense and lively pink color, clean and bright.
- Aroma: Wide range of fresh red fruits with citrus, balsamic, and herbaceous notes. The aging in jars adds subtle earthy touches and an aniseed background.
- Flavor: Dry and light, with a silky texture and very fresh. Excellent refreshing acidity with a long finish that leaves a persistent aniseed memory and a subtle saline touch.

Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany rice dishes, seafood, pasta, roasted white meats, and grilled vegetables. Its freshness and fruity character make it versatile for various preparations.
