Luberri Biga Crianza is a modern-style crianza, made with Tempranillo. It is a friendly and personality-filled wine, combining fresh red fruit flavors with the tastes of aging, vanilla and wood.
In El Ciego, Rioja, Luberri winery, led by the Monje Amestoy family, combines modernity and roots to make their personal and honest wines.
Luberri Biga Crianza is a single varietal of Tempranillo (100%). The harvest is carried out according to the ripeness of the grapes, looking for the precise moment. As for the production, it is carried out following the traditional method. The process begins with carbonic maceration in which the clusters are introduced whole into the tanks.
After this maceration, the must undergoes an intracellular fermentation that enhances the aromatic intensity of the variety, and then it is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
Luberri Biga Crianza is ideal for accompanying white and red meats, lamb, pork or beef roasts, poultry, braised meats, rice dishes, legumes, and aged cheeses.
It is recommended to consume this red wine at a temperature between 16-18ºC.
