From the heart of the Salnés Valley, in the heart of Rías Baixas, the emblematic winery Martín Códax presents Marieta Sin, the first white wine without alcohol made in Galicia from 100% Albariño grapes. This innovative proposal is part of "La Casa de Marieta", a range designed for those who want to enjoy the taste of wine with a lighter and healthier option, without giving up the fresh and expressive character of this Atlantic variety.
The production process begins like any quality wine: manual harvest, controlled fermentation, and brief aging in a tank. The difference lies in the final step, where a method of de-alcoholization by vacuum evaporation at low temperature is applied, a delicate technique that allows the primary aromas and structure of the wine to be preserved, minimizing the loss of varietal expression. Thanks to this, Marieta Sin maintains the soul of Albariño intact: its freshness, floral perfume, and citrus profile.
Appearance: Straw yellow with lemon reflections, clean and very bright.
Nose: Medium-high intensity. Aromas of tangerine, green apple, white peach, and an elegant floral background.
Palate: Fresh and friendly entry, with a perfect balance between acidity and sweetness. Light, tasty with a very pleasant citrus finish.
Ideal to accompany Galician seafood, white fish, ceviche, sushi, spicy dishes like Thai or Mexican cuisine, and vegetarian recipes. Its friendly and alcohol-free profile also makes it an excellent companion for fresh cheeses or to enjoy on its own as a healthy appetizer.
Marieta Sin is not just an alcohol-free wine, but a true reinterpretation of Albariño for new lifestyles. Fresh, expressive, and surprisingly balanced, it is presented as the ideal option for those who want to take care of their well-being without giving up the pleasure of good wine. Awarded the Gold Medal at the London Wine Competition 2025, with 97 points, it is currently the best alcohol-free white wine in the world, which confirms its exceptional quality and commitment to innovation.
