Matusalem Oloroso VORS
Matusalem is a cream VORS with an average of 30 years in American oak barrels following the traditional system of criaderas and solera.
Deep mahogany in color with deep aromas of dried fruits, raisins, spices, and old wood. Its seductive scent is its greatest virtue. Aromas of dried fruit, nuts, and caramel find a fresh contrast in subtle citrus notes. Smooth, sweet, and velvety on the palate. The finish of this wine is sweet due to the blend of sweet Pedro Ximénez and bitter from the tannins obtained from aging in oak. Ultimately, the Matusalem Oloroso VORS is powerful in character with an eternal aftertaste.
It is a perfect wine to pair with cheeses like Cabrales or Stilton or fruit pudding.
