Instructions for filling the grinder:
It is very simple, you just have to remove the head by unscrewing it carefully and fill it with the flakes you have purchased. We particularly do not recommend serving the flakes directly from the package as other brands of paprika from La Vera propose, as their texture and size are not as ideal as after passing through the grinder head.

The versatility of Caballo de Oros paprika flakes.
It is one of the great strengths of the paprika flakes we produce in our traditional factory located in Jaraíz de la Vera. Paprika flakes have an irresistible aroma and flavor and are also perfectly valid for adding their smoky flavor to any type of dish (we have even seen them in desserts).
The evolution of paprika flakes in the market has been completely satisfactory, to the point that it has surprised us the great reception that this product has had among gourmet and cooking enthusiasts. The brand Caballo de Oros was the first to release this product for sale a few years ago, and since then, paprika flakes have never ceased to amaze us. In the beginning, when they had just hit the market and no one knew about this product, our regular customers of La Vera paprika would ask us about the culinary uses they could dedicate to paprika flakes, as La Vera paprika is already traditional in Spanish cuisine and has well-established uses (Galician-style octopus, tripe, Extremaduran migas, etc). But of course, this product was completely new and to tell the truth, although it comes from the same raw material as La Vera paprika, its culinary uses keep multiplying, it is absolutely versatile. Obviously, before putting it on sale, we had already tried it in certain types of recipes with meat, fish, pasta, and pizza, and it worked very well. However, later on, our customers and collaborators have been the true testers of this product, trying it in different types of recipes, so many types that even we have been amazed and said... "wow". To this day, we still receive a huge number of recipes with paprika flakes of all kinds through our media and social networks: salads, cheeses, with oil and turkey, with meat, with sauces, with fish, with pizzas, of course with pasta, but also with legumes, with paella, Andalusian regañás, and even with desserts.
