Pirita is a red wine made with Juan garcía, tempranillo, rufete, bruñal, bastardillo chico, bastardillo serrano, garnacha tintorera, tinta jeromo and gajo arroba, in the D.O. Arribes by the Almaroja winery.
Old vines. Aged for 9 to 24 months in 225 litre French oak barrels with 10% to 15% new wood.
Colour: Bigarreau cherry red with purple hues.
Nose: Intense aromas of blackberries, green figs and a floral background of mallows and violets that give the wine a very fresh touch.
Palate: In the mouth it has a voluminous and warm entry. It has a good acidity with polished tannins and very well assembled. Red fruits and balsamic notes predominate. Persistent finish.
