Quinta Apollonia is the second target of Belondrade. This is an assembly of two different wines, although the same varietal: the Verdejo. The first is made with grapes from the winery's youngest vineyards and is slowly fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The second (almost one third of the coupage), of wine aged for 3 months on its lees.
This verdejo clearly shows the vegetal aromas typical of the varietal with which it is elaborated, as well as fruit with bone (peach, apricot) and a pleasantly refreshing citrus background. Ample, enveloping, glyceric, creamy and unctuous, with a beautiful acidity that gives a successful freshness and persistence of aromas.
In short, we are faced with a very personal vision of Rueda Verdejo (although for marketing reasons do not accept the D.O.) of one of the most prestigious wineries in the area that is definitely worth discovering.
