Ramón Bilbao Gran Reserva is made from Tempranillo (90%), Graciano (5%), and Garnacha (5%). The grapes come from old vineyard plots in Haro and its surroundings (Las Arogues, La Llana, San Prudencio...). The production process begins with a manual harvest and selection during the third week of October.
Once in the winery, the wine ferments at a controlled temperature and ages for 30 months in American oak barrels. After bottling, the wine undergoes 36 months of aging in an underground cellar.
Ramón Bilbao Gran Reserva is ideal to accompany red meats, aged cheeses, barbecues, and game meat.
It is recommended to decant this wine before consuming it and serve it at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
