It is red wine Jimbro 3 is the perfect union of 3 varieties of red grapes found in the ancient vineyards of Las Arribes del Duero. Three great minority grapes and unknown to the general public as are the Bruñal, Rufete and Juan Garcia that together give rise to a great wine of unique, singular and elegant character.

During the first steps of the winemaking project of JIMBROWORLD, from the winery focused on the recovery of the Bruñal grape variety, which for various reasons in the late twentieth century was at risk of disappearing and being lost forever from the genetic register of varieties. It was during this work of preservation and recovery of the Bruñal variety that other varieties were found scattered among the old vineyards of the area, some of them of great oenological interest. Thanks to this continuous almost daily contact we gradually got to know these fantastic varieties and the protagonists of JIMBRO3.

JIMBRO3 is made from grapes coming from vineyards all of them centenarians located in the towns of Fermoselle, Pinilla and Aldeadavila de la Ribera These vineyards are witnesses of another era, another way of working and understanding the cultivation of the vine. They have been able to resist different waves of abandonment of the rural environment thanks to the immense work of the people of the area being all of them giants of what today is called Heroic Viticulture. It was thanks to this anonymous group of men and women that today we can still enjoy these incredible vineyards that have endured the depopulation of this area of Spain and the mechanization of the sector.
