Red wine D.O. Toro, 100% Variety TINTA DE TORO (Tempranillo adaptation to the area). Vineyards over 100 years old. Twenty-four months of aging in French oak barrels. Thirty-six months of harmonization in bottle.
Visually it is a wine of garnet red color, deep layer and ruby reflections.
Intense aroma, complex, full of sensations that begin with a surprisingly fruity memory, blackberry and black plum, which bring freshness, giving way to spicy tones of pepper and clove, all very well integrated with tertiary aromas from aging in fine French oak, which give us pronounced balsamic and licorice tones, intermingled with hints of tobacco leaf and toffee. It is a long, elegant wine, where every moment is a new sensation.
All this is complemented as a mouth, glycerine gourmand and tasty. Excellent varietal expression (terroir). Its entrance is a balsamic and fresh explosion, where the fruit is perfectly integrated and gives way to the toasted wood where the sweet tannins give us length and finesse.
Production limited to 740 bottles.
Long aging red wine. It should be decanted due to its long aging in bottle. It is advisable to be accompanied by dishes made from our traditional roasts, red meats, Iberian pork products, stews of traditional Castilian cuisine and blue cheese and preserved in virgin olive oil.
