The San Cucufate Altos del Viso Red Wine is a sublime expression of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, made with 100% Tinto Fino. Coming from the prestigious plot Altos del Viso, located in Gumiel de Mercado, this wine stands out for its freshness, elegance, and aging potential, thanks to the combination of exceptional altitude and calcareous and stony soils.
The vines of Altos del Viso are cultivated at 910 meters of altitude, in an extension of 1.3 hectares, with a northeast-southeast orientation. These conditions allow a slow ripening of the grape, preserving its natural acidity and freshness. The harvest is done manually, with a meticulous selection of the best clusters in 15 kg boxes, ensuring maximum quality in each bottle.
With a limited production of 1,200 bottles, this wine represents a true oenological gem for wine lovers.
The San Cucufate Altos del Viso Red Wine stands out for its fresh and delicate character, with exceptional minerality provided by its chalky soil. On the nose, it offers subtle aromas of red fruits, flowers, and mineral notes, while on the palate it is harmonious, vibrant, and with a long and refined finish.
Thanks to its balance and structure, this wine has great aging potential, evolving in the bottle for years without losing its freshness and unique character.
To fully enjoy it, it is recommended to pair it with white meats, fatty fish, creamy rice dishes, and semi-cured cheeses, highlighting its elegance and smoothness.
The extreme conditions of the vineyard, its altitude, and stony soil make the San Cucufate Altos del Viso a unique, fresh, and long-lived wine. Its exclusive production makes it a must-have option for those looking to buy wine with personality and a well-defined origin.
