The region's continental climate with Atlantic influences, characterized by cold winters and hot summers with many hours of sunlight, along with significant temperature variations between day and night during the ripening stage, allows for the production of high-quality grapes. Annual rainfall is close to 400 mm, which also contributes to the vineyards' water balance.

The production process of Viña Abba Red Wine begins with the careful selection of grapes in the vineyard, which are harvested in the fourth week of September. Then, there is a pre-fermentation maceration for 2-3 days, followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures of 24-26º C and a 15-day maceration with daily pump-overs.
