Ron Negrita is a drink that is produced entirely in Spain, specifically in the town of Gelida, in Catalonia.
Ron Negrita, produced since 1857, is an exceptional rum with powerful aromas, bringing an exotic touch to all kinds of recipes, from the oldest to the most modern. Ideal for cocktails, desserts, and grogs. The history of this rum dates back to 1857 when Paul Bardinet (liquor manufacturer) became interested in the sugarcane juice exported from islands located in the Caribbean. Ron Negrita is produced in Gelida (Catalonia) with raw materials exported from Venezuela.
Appearance: Negrita has a bright amber color.
Nose: Its aroma is very pronounced in its distillation, somewhat sweet.
Pallet: It leaves a very pleasant flavor on the palate with a slight hint of raisins and a sweet finish.
Ron Negrita is reminiscent of other rums from the Caribbean and, apart from being mixed with other beverages such as juices or sodas, rum is used in pastry to make different desserts. It is also used to enjoy with certain infusions such as tea, mint, and coffee. With the latter, "carajillos" are prepared.
