"Sapientia Sauvignon Blanc" is a young white wine that stands out for its organic quality and vegan certification. Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this wine reflects the excellence of the Denomination of Origin Rueda, in the Region of Castilla y León, Spain.
The grapes used in this wine come from the vineyards of Nava del Rey, cultivated under organic farming practices certified by the Council of Organic Agriculture of Castilla y León. The vineyards are located on terraces with boulders, known as gravelly soils, near the Duero River. These soils facilitate water drainage, reducing the probability of cryptogamic diseases.
The production of "Sapientia Sauvignon Blanc" is carried out in stainless steel tanks, using the yeasts present in the grape skins. The wine is then stabilised with bentonite and undergoes cold resting, followed by filtering on natural cellulose plates. This process guarantees the purity and quality of the wine, preserving the natural characteristics of Sauvignon Blanc.
Viniculture is carried out with a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach. Natural treatments are used, such as herbal infusions and broths, including horsetail, camomile, among others. Herbicides are avoided, and weed control is carried out using tillage techniques.
