Production and Aging

Sierra Cantabria Reserva is made with the Tempranillo variety. This wine has aged in equal parts French and American oak barrels for 18 months. 20% of the barrel is new and the remaining 80% is a maximum of 3 wines. It is racked every 4 months.

Tasting Notes of Sierra Cantabria Reserva

• Appearance: Sierra Cantabria Reserva has a bright ruby-tea color with good depth.
• Nose: Very aromatic, highlighting fruity notes.
• Palate: The expression of red fruit predominates with a noticeable but mature tannin. It has good acidity, structure, and character.

Pairing

Sierra Cantabria Reserva is ideal to accompany stews, Iberian acorn-fed ham, feathered game, red meats with sauce, and roasts. It is recommended to decant before consuming and serve at a temperature between 14 and 16°C.
