The Tequila Herradura Reposado is made from blue agave Weber. This tequila is distilled in two stages to achieve a clean and pure flavor, and then aged for 11 months in American oak barrels, which gives it body and a sweet, rounded flavor.
Herradura is the most respected name in the tequila industry. For five generations the Romo family has managed to remain faithful to the tradition bequeathed by its founder Don Feliciano. Only the healthiest and ripest agaves are used in this distillery, which are cooked in traditional clay ovens before distillation, just as it was done more than 100 years ago. Its reposado tequila is aged for 11 months in oak barrels, with only one month left to become an ańejo. This makes it the "oldest" of all tequilas reposado.
This tequila has an alcohol content of 40% Vol.
