The artisans first choose the region of the cocoa harvest, because not all varieties allow them to make quality chocolate. Once the cocoa pods have been harvested at the moment of optimum ripeness, the beans are extracted and fermented by storing them in crates for a week and turning them every day to release the aromas.
The cocoa beans are then passed through the fermentation process
The beans are then roasted, peeled and ventilated, grinding the result to obtain the cocoa juice which is cooked at a certain temperature, pressure and for a certain time
It is at that moment where the sugars, cocoa butter and other ingredients are added, choosing the percentage of cocoa with which your creations will be made.
Once the creative process is finished, the handmade packaging identifies each Utopik reference and leaves it ready to travel around the world
