From the heart of the D.O. Terra Alta, in the Catalan region of the same name, Vallmajor Red is born, a young and expressive wine made by Celler Batea. This blend, dominated by Black Grenache with a touch of Syrah, comes from vineyards located at medium altitudes, cultivated on calcareous-clay soils that give the wine freshness and typicality. The vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature to preserve the purity of the fruit, without wood aging, highlighting the varietal profile. Its fruity and direct character faithfully reflects the Mediterranean spirit of Terra Alta.
Appearance: Bright cherry red color with violet reflections, clean and of medium intensity.
Nose: Intense aromas of fresh red fruits such as strawberry, raspberry, and cherry, accompanied by soft spicy notes and hints of licorice.
