Production and Aging
Viña Sastre Crianza 2019 is a single varietal of Tinta del País. The grapes grow in vineyards that are 20 to 60 years old, at an altitude of 800m, on the slopes of the Duero River, in the town of Roa, the headquarters of the D.O. Duero. Viña Sastre Crianza is made in an artisanal way, which is why no mineral fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides are used.
After maceration and fermentation, Viña Sastre Crianza undergoes 14 months of aging in French and American oak barrels with four rackings.
