The Vino Blanco Conde Valdemar Finca Alto Cantabria is an outstanding product from the renowned Bodega Valdemar, one of the most prestigious wineries in the La Rioja region, Spain.
With a history dating back over 130 years, Valdemar has been a reference in the production of high-quality wines and has earned a solid reputation in the wine world.
The Valdemar winery was founded in 1889 by Joaquín Martínez Bujanda, and since then it has been a family-owned company that has been passed down from generation to generation. Over the years, the winery has combined tradition and innovation, using advanced winemaking techniques while still respecting the traditional practices that have been fundamental to the production of exceptional wines.
The Vino Blanco Conde Valdemar Finca Alto Cantabria is made with grapes from the Alto Cantabria estate, located in the La Rioja Alta region. This estate has vineyards of native grape varieties such as Viura and Malvasía. The Viura is a white variety that brings elegance and freshness to the wine, while the Malvasía adds an aromatic note and complexity.
The production of this white wine begins with a careful selection of grapes at the optimal moment of ripeness. After the manual harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery where a meticulous winemaking process takes place. The grapes are gently pressed and undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, which helps to preserve the fruity aromas and flavors of the wine.
Once fermentation is complete, the wine undergoes a aging period in French oak barrels for several months. This aging process adds complexity and structure to the wine, enhancing its unique characteristics. Finally, the wine is bottled and allowed to rest in the cellar before being released to the market.
