Cultivation of vines for Rioja Alavesa wines under the Rioja D.O.C. (Álava)

The Ramírez de la Peciña family is dedicated to vine cultivation and the marketing of quality wines in Villabuena de Álava, under the D.O.C. Rioja. The winery is technologically modernized with a new bottling line and improvements in the production process. Opportunities are opening up in the foreign market, implementing traceability control systems in the vineyard and winery. The grapes come from their own vineyards ranging from 15 to 100 years old.

Color: beautiful violet - reddish well covered. Good tear, light and tinted.

Nose Nose: on standing, very intense tannins are appreciated, with floral aroma. On swirling, the ripe grape emerges. Very soft and fruity aroma.

Mouth: smooth and lively. Good palate, slightly natural sparkle, marked and well integrated. Flavours of fresh fruit.

The majority of the grapes used to produce our wines come from our own vineyards, between 15 and 100 years old, planted in goblet and trellis with a production of 4.000 Kg/Hect. to 5.000 Kg/Hect. for the red varieties and 9.000 Kg/Hect. for the white variety
