Aalto 2023 is an extraordinary red wine from the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, crafted by Bodegas Aalto. Considered one of the finest wines in the region, it is made from 100% Tinto Fino grapes sourced from 40- to 80-year-old vines. The harvest is done manually in small 15 kg boxes, ensuring a meticulous selection of the best grapes. This wine undergoes approximately 16 months of aging in barrels, using 50% French and American oak, adding complexity and elegance to the final product. Aalto is characterized by its intense cherry-red color and bouquet that reveals red fruits paired with subtle spice notes and a touch of well-integrated fine wood. On the palate, it is a fresh wine with good density and volume, where notes of licorice, coffee, and tobacco are distinguished, reflecting its distinctive style.
