Abadía Retuerta Le Domaine is a white wine D.O.P. Abadía Retuerta obtained from Viñas Sauvignon Blanc, for the most part, with a touch of Verdejo. Although this has traditionally been a zone of reds, this variety has been splendidly adapted to our climate and terroir, carried away from the ancestral spirit that has embraced it.
Ageing of 5 months in French oak barrels (fermentation and resting)
Abadía Retuerta Le Domaine is of bright straw colour and golden gleams. Of complex and intense nose, it reminds of other grape varieties, nuances of pineapple and grapefruit, toast, butter and bakery.
Clean, shiny, yellow, almost steely. Aromas of honey, peach in syrup, ginger, white flowers and mint interspersed with smoky notes on an intense nose. In the mouth is soft, exotic citrus fruit (grapefruit) and white (Apple), along with touches of freshly cut and aniseed hay, very well fused flavors with wood. The acidity is perfect, providing freshness and long finish, without losing its round unctuosity. A wine of guard, a wine that surprises.
