Pago Negralada comes from a vineyard of Tempranillo, the most noble Spanish variety. The vines have been planted on soils of deep gravel and sand on the surface, giving this wine a firm and tannic character.
It has developed its full potential after a dream of almost two years of ageing in new French oak barrels. Its excellent maturity stands out, enveloping us with fragrant aromas of strawberry, liquorice, aromatic herbs and mineral notes. On the palate, its tannins are silky.
It has won international awards as well as the highest accolades in various publications and in the most prestigious tastings. It is a long-aged wine with great ageing potential. A wine from the past ready to triumph in the future.
Abadía Retuerta Pago Negralada has an intense nose with notes of great maturity and freshness, hints of black fruits, clove and a creamy touch. Lively attack, ample, very fleshy and expressive, it invades the palate with unusual smoothness, with very fine and ripe tannins.
Very long, with a finish marked by the personality and character of this noble variety. Probably the best Pago Negralada ever.
